Born in 1968 in pimpri, Pune, Anna Dadu Bansode's journey from running a paan shop to becoming Deputy Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is a testament to Indian democracy's opportunities.
A graduate from Pune University, Bansode belongs to the Scheduled Castes community and began his political career as a corporator in Pimpri pimpri Municipal Corporation in 1997.
Known for his unwavering loyalty to Ajit Pawar, Bansode has been instrumental in NCP's organizational work in Pimpri region and was elected unopposed as Deputy Speaker in March 2025.
